The fam and I had always planned to go and stay in a big fancy hotel overseas. We never really got the chance to go because of work and school. We invited my grandparents because they always came over to our house to visit us and stay with us so it would be rude if we didn’t invite them. For some reason Grandma didn't seem interested.. But Grandma is always excited to come on trips and go to new places? It was very strange and suspicious of her to not want to come with us. She was obviously up to something.

Tricky Tuesday By Bella

Me and my friend were bored so we decided to grab some string and tins and wanted to see if you could actually hear the other person's voice through the string, we didn’t have much string. In fact It was only 83 centimetres long. The tins used to have gravy in them so we had to clean them out and make sure we washed them correctly before using them. We went into the living room and tried it and the rumour was true!

Hi my name is Bella I’m 12 years old and I am a year 8 at Otaki College. My favourite colour is blue and I like to listen to music and play MSP. My favourite subjects at school are Dme and Japanese. I have 2 dogs called Meg and Jeff and I like to take them to the beach and watch them chase the seagulls. My best friend is Daisy and I always hang out with her at lunch and do tik toks with her. My favourite food is Mexican food and I dislike Ice cream and Chicken :)

Hi i’m Lia I'm 16 years old and live in a town called Castroberg. Castroberg is a very busy town it has 12 primary schools 7 colleges and 9 preschools. Me and my friends have a favourite place to hang out and go camping at, most people know it  as the yellow peek forest.

One day after school about 3:34 me and my friends arrived at the yellow peek forest, what we saw was unexpected. First we saw about 120 cars then people taking lots of photos and videos we all looked over at all the people and thought to ourselves, what are they looking at? What’s so amazing?.

We all walked over slowly still wondering what’s happening and saw a huge tunnel! Not just any tunnel, the tunnel was made out of old vines that had curved over into a circle shape there were three of them. It was honestly like a movie scene. We all had our jaws dropped  taking photos.

After that lots more people came to see the amazing sight people had made rumors that a new movie was coming out right in that scene which made even more people come and see. Then a while later we went back to our houses and called it a night. Except… after a while of staring at my ceiling I thought about what it would be like to go there without any people in the way of them, we could go up close and see the details better.

I texted my friends and told them to meet me outside our school so we could walk down to the forest together. Finally they came to our school I explained why I texted them so late in the night telling them to meet at the school. They both said that it was a good idea and we started to walk down. When we arrived at the “three rings” and something had changed..

New York Is Going Down
One day I was sitting at my desk at school and something caught my eye, just outside the building. At first I didn’t think much of it then I turned back to the film that was playing on the front screen and looked at it closely, it looked as if the screen was.. Shaking i texted one of my friends saying “ look, the screen. It’s shaking..” but she just said that it was probably people running up the stairs, I continued to watch the film  and the principal spoke on the speakers saying “ All classes evacuate safely and calmly and go to the back courts”. We all met on the back courts and they told us what was happening, mostly everyone screamed, and freaked out.
